Two unbeaten teams, with a different question for each
Detroit’s official team page and the 76ers’ schedule placed both sides at 2-0 before the Sunday tip. Detroit opened with home wins over Boston and a road win in Miami, so this is another Eastern Conference road test. Philadelphia’s two early comebacks, described on the NBA’s Bucks–76ers preview, provide a separate angle: whether the Sixers can avoid needing another rally. Neither prior result determines Sunday’s outcome.
The official game page lists Detroit’s victories in their April 4, March 12 and two November meetings from the prior season. Those results are historical context, not a score or starting lineup for October 25. The league also included this matchup in its opening-season League Pass spotlight, highlighting the competition between last season’s East-leading Pistons and the retooled Sixers.
Check the right viewing territory
Philadelphia’s local channel and Detroit’s local outlets are territory-specific. The NBA game page directs viewers to its watch selector; out-of-market League Pass access can be limited by blackouts. No national U.S. TV channel is listed for this game in the 76ers’ official schedule. The October 25 NBA guide shows the other Sunday matchups.
